Raku Pottery dates back to the 16th century when an ancient Japanese technique of three-colored glaze was used in the making of tea bowls. This piece of Raku Pottery is completely hand-thrown using stoneware clay. The copper present in the glaze, when subjected to flames, creates the totally unique finish of the pot.
